WOW! It’s been six months since we have recorded a podcast, but we pick up just the same way we started – with a lot of talk, very little planning, and by jumping in with both feet!

• Thou shalt not expect a smooth and perfect transition first day

• Thou shalt not wait until the day before school to enforce a bedtime.

• Thou shalt not freak out that their child’s teacher is like….21 years old and the address she gave your child to communicate was her college address.

• Thou shalt not send kid to school looking like a kid out of an LLBean, JCrew or Lands End catalog.  He or she will get beaten up.

• Thou shalt not get so caught up in September magazines that you do not realize what is going on around you.
